Dave Robinson 5/25/2011 The alliance formed by promoters from 1st Class Wrestling and Unstoppable Wrestling Alliance have announced that they will be bringing back the XVW name and will resume running shows at the popular wrestling hot spot Sorg Opera House in Middletown, Ohio. The announcement was made at 1CW's Battlemania show in Dayton, Ohio Saturday, May 21, 2011. XVW, a promotion owned by Sorg owner Ed Hall was the predecessor company to Tom McClain's 1CW who was once at the helm of XVW until a much heated split within the promotion took place. XVW promoters are saying they will be bringing in popular names in order to draw in crowds. One name being thrown out is that of former WWE superstar Jimmy Wang Yang who is also a trainer for UWA. Many insiders are claiming the heads at the resurrected XVW have singled out their rivals Serious Attitude Wrestling who also holds shows in Middletown for a war. SAW, formerly known as RAM, once ran shows at the Sorg Opera House as well and was a subsidiary of XVW. But several SAW wrestlers claim they won't go down without a fight. Attachments:
