Ryan Stone and upper management at Elite All Pro Wrestling in Cincinnati, Ohio seem none too pleased with Talkin Smack Radio Host Dave Robinson's remarks about the company on the show's 8/29/12 broadcast.
Robinson, made a plea to his fellow Ass Kickin Panel members to follow him to the next EAPW event to make a statement. He stressed that he intends show the fans and workers alike involved with the promotion who was truly the real driving force behind the company.
"That place hasn't been the same since we left. The company doesn't want the public to know about the blood and tears that guys like myself, Hansen, and O'Bryan put into that place. And then Stone comes along hot out of the NWF and pretends that all the hard work was his? I care too much about a company we helped found to let that happen," Said Robinson.
The controversial broadcaster emphasized that certain wrestlers who chose to stick with EAPW throughout the years only did so to unfairly face financial heartache and hopelessness when it came to really having a chance to excel within the ranks. "This never had to be!" said Robinson.
But the question remains did upper management get the picture on what Robinson was saying? "I didn't know the NWO started back up," Said Ryan Stone who heads booking at EAPW in a text message to Shoot Junkies staff.
Early yesterday Robinson posted the following on Facebook:
Just to let our listening audience know, what I said about EAPW last night wasn't a work. Ryan Stone and the rest of Eliteall Pro had no knowledge that I was going to bring them up. And I'm not going down there on the 8th to have a rasslin match. I'm going to make a statement to their fans. And I'm going with lotsa dirt on them. One way or the other I'm letting the cat out of the bag.
EAPW has a show scheduled Saturday, September 8. A show that the Ass Kickin Panel has vowed to be at.
